About the event
A recital of Baroque and Romantic works for cello performed by Simon Abdilla Joslin, one of Malta’s foremost cellists, and accompanied by pianist Maria-Elena Farrugia. The first half of the programme includes Baroque sonatas by Vivaldi, Marcello and Jacchini. The second half focuses on two important cello works from the 19th century: Cilea’s Cello Sonata Op. 38 and Schumann’s Fantasiestucke Op. 73.
