About the event
This year we celebrate the 125th anniversary of the death of Giuseppe Verdi and the 90th anniversary of the death of Ottorino Respighi. These two giants of Italian music defined their respective generations, with Verdi revolutionising Italian opera, and Respighi bringing Italian music into the 20th century. This recital celebrates their vocal achievements with a blend of operatic arias and art songs.
